Review: Mad Max Fury Road (out now on DVD and Blu-ray).

George Miller's critically acclaimed post-apocalyptic action film, MAD MAX: FURY ROAD, featuring a cast including Charlize Theron, Tom Hardy, Nicholas Hoult and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley arrives on Blu-ray 3D, Blu-ray, 4 film anthology and DVD this Monday 5th October.

Haunted by his turbulent past, Mad Max believes the best way to survive is to wander alone. Nevertheless, he becomes swept up with a group fleeing across the Wasteland in a War Rig driven by an elite Imperator, Furiosa. They are escaping a Citadel tyrannized by the Immortan Joe, from whom something irreplaceable has been taken. Enraged, the Warlord marshals all his gangs and pursues the rebels ruthlessly in the high-octane Road War that follows.

This Mad Max reboot could well have been a big-screen disaster, but in actual fact it's a triumph.  Tom Hardy has never been better as the action hero at the centre of this non-stop adrenaline rush.
