Lads mags FHM and Zoo cease publication.
Lads mags FHM and Zoo are to cease publication following a drop in sales. A statement on FHM.com, run by Baeur Media, reads "Unfortunately it’s true and it has been announced today the intention to suspend publication of FHM.
It’s been an absolute joy producing the magazine over the years. Thank you for all your support, we will keep you updated with developments over the coming weeks".
FHM began in 1985 where it was known under the full title of 'For Him Magazine' before it changed to FHM in 1994. It is best known for its Sexiest Women In The World poll and FHM Honeys section.
Zoo launched in 2004 as a rival to Nuts Magazine, which has also since closed.
A rise in free online lifestyle magazines like The Version is blamed for the drop in the magazines popularity.
