5 Must-See TV Shows on this Week...

Another week, another fresh batch of decent tv for you to watch. Here's our choice of the best of what's on each day this week..

MONDAY: The Murder Detectives, 9pm, Channel 4.

In this fascinating new documentary series, Channel 4 goes behind the scenes of the real life murder investigation into the death of 19 year old Nicholas Robinson, who was stabbed to death near his Bristol home.  Stripped across three nights (Monday - Wednesday this week), cameras follow the investigation from the perspective of the police, the accused and the victim's family.

TUESDAY: Catastrophe, 10pm, Channel 4.

The hit comedy continues as the all too realistic central characters Rob and Sharon face the prospect of splitting up.  Rob turns to the bottle after his old pal Dave fails to be the shoulder to cry on that he needs.

WEDNESDAY: The Apprentice, 9pm, BBC One.

Things get heated in the boardroom big time this week, after a disastrous task, which sees the two teams of so-called business people trying to sell luxury homes to London's high-end buyers. It's the start of a couple of weeks of carnage...

THURSDAY: Homeless At Christmas, 10pm, Channel 5.

Before you start moaning about the prospect of having to see your extended family this Christmas, watch this.  This four part series follows people across the UK who faced a genuinely tough festive period this time last year.  They include a 35 year old homeless woman who's life became a nightmare when she lost her job as a Mortgage Broker.

FRIDAY:  TFI Friday, 8pm, Channel 4.

Full credit to Chris Evans. Whatever you think of him, he can certainly pull in some big names for his live entertainment series. Tonight, you get performances from Mumford and Sons, Florence and the Machine, Nathaniel and the Night Sweats, and joining him in the bar are Kylie and Daniel Radcliffe.
