An Alpine Train at Christmas is coming to Channel 4
Stunning new documentary to air this December.
This Christmas, Channel 4 invites viewers on a journey aboard one of the world's most picturesque trains. Narrated by Hugh Bonneville, this seasonal special takes us on the iconic Bernina Express, offering a front-row seat to the festive magic of the Alps. The train’s breathtaking route begins in Chur, Switzerland’s oldest town, and winds through Europe’s most spectacular Alpine landscapes, concluding in the charming Italian town of Tirano. Along the way, we meet the people who call these majestic mountains home, learning about their lives amid this stunning winter wonderland.
An Alpine Train at Christmas (working title) is a one-hour special produced by Salford-based indie King of Sunshine Productions in collaboration with GroupM Motion Entertainment. Sohail Shah, Managing Director of King of Sunshine Productions, serves as executive producer alongside Ben Sheldon as series producer.
