Capital announces Summertime Ball will take place on a Saturday!
Tickets for Capital's Summertime Ball will go on general sale at 9am on Thursday April 30th, after it was announced the event will happen on Saturday 6th June.
Capital, the UK’s no.1 hit music station, today confirmed the return of Capital’s Summertime Ball with Barclaycard for 2026, with the star-studded line-up set to be revealed live on Tuesday April 28th and Wednesday April 29th, ahead of tickets going on general sale at 9am on Thursday April 30th.
The UK’s biggest summer party will take place on Saturday June 6th at Wembley Stadium, where 80,000 Capital fans will see the world’s biggest music stars take to the stage.
Fans have already taken to social media to express their delight that for the first time in years, the party will happen on a Saturday and not the usual Sunday.
The line-up will be unveiled LIVE on Capital Breakfast with Jordan North, Chris Stark and Siân Welby across Tuesday and Wednesday morning, with this year’s Ball promising to be bigger and better than ever. The show will also be streamed live for fans on YouTube and Global Player, the official Capital app.

Tickets will go on general sale at 9am on Thursday April 30th via Global Player. Fans will need to download Global Player, the official Capital app, on their smartphone or tablet from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store – sign up is quick, easy and free.
Capital listeners logged into Global Player can access an exclusive presale from 9am on Wednesday April 29th. Barclaycard customers will also be able to get 10% off presale tickets via Barclaycard Entertainment or the Global Player link.
