FUZE: Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Theo James's action thriller is now streaming
FUZE is available to watch at home from today.
Audiences can now experience the explosive action thriller Fuze from the comfort of home, as the film officially becomes available today via Sky Cinema Premieres in the UK and on premium rental platforms including Fandango at Home, Apple TV and Prime Video across the US.
Directed by acclaimed Scottish filmmaker David Mackenzie, whose previous credits include Hell or High Water and Outlaw King, Fuze delivers a gripping, high-stakes reimagining of the modern heist thriller. Following its acclaimed debut at the Toronto International Film Festival and subsequent UK cinema release as a Sky Original on April 3rd, 2026, the film is now set to reach an even wider audience through its home entertainment launch.
Shot extensively on location across London, Fuze transforms the capital into a pressure cooker of suspense, panic and deception. The city itself becomes a central character as chaos eruts following the discovery of an unexploded Second World War bomb beneath a major construction site.
Leading the cast are Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Kraven the Hunter, Bullet Train) and Theo James (The White Lotus, The Gentlemen), whose performances anchor the film’s escalating tension and emotional complexity. They are joined by an impressive ensemble including Sam Worthington (Avatar, Under the Banner of Heaven), Gugu Mbatha-Raw (Surface, Loki) and Saffron Hocking (Top Boy).
At the centre of the story is bomb disposal expert Major Will Tranter, played by Taylor-Johnson, who is drawn into a rapidly deteriorating crisis alongside police chief Zuzana Greenfield, portrayed by Mbatha-Raw. As the threat intensifies, hidden agendas emerge and alliances begin to fracture. What unfolds is a razor-sharp collision of bomb disposal drama, precision robbery and psychological suspense, with London teetering on the edge of catastrophe.
Blending visceral action with tightly wound storytelling, Fuze continues Mackenzie’s reputation for crafting atmospheric thrillers driven by morally complex characters and relentless pacing. The film’s urban setting, combined with practical action sequences and grounded performances, gives the story a gritty authenticity that distinguishes it from more conventional genre fare.
The production was led by Sébastien Raybaud and Callum Grant for Anton, alongside David Mackenzie and Gillian Berrie for Sigma Films, bringing together an experienced creative team behind one of the year’s most intense action thrillers.
With its pulse-pounding premise, layered performances and explosive set pieces, Fuze arrives as a must-watch for fans of smart, sophisticated thrillers. Now available to stream and rent at home, the film offers audiences the chance to dive into one of the year’s most talked-about cinematic experiences.
