Jennifer Aniston to star in new movie labelled 'Bridesmaids, at the North Pole'
Jennifer Aniston is to star in a brand new Christmas comedy movie from Universal Pictures called Naughty.
Jennifer Aniston is taking holiday dysfunction to an entirely new level. The Emmy winner is set to star in Universal Pictures’ upcoming comedy Naughty, directed by Olivia Wilde.
Aniston will star as Mallory, a single mother locked in a high-stakes custody battle with her manipulative, “trash-bag ex.” The twist? Her ex happens to be Santa Claus himself. Desperate to retain custody of her son, Mallory’s last remaining option is to track down the big man at the North Pole and convince him to testify on her behalf in divorce court.
Joining Aniston in the festive mayhem is Peter Dinklage, who takes on the role of the King of Christmas.
A High-Powered Creative Team
Pitch-perfected as “Bridesmaids” at the North Pole, the project was first announced in 2023 and has now landed a prime theatrical launch date from Universal Pictures on November 5, 2027.
Director: Olivia Wilde, stepping behind the camera fresh off the success of her latest directorial effort, The Invite.
Screenplay: Written by Jimmy Warden, best known for penning Cocaine Bear and Borderline.
Producers: Margot Robbie, Tom Ackerley, Josey McNamara, and Milan Popelka under their LuckyChap banner, alongside Wilde and Warden.
What’s Next for Jennifer Aniston?
Before taking on the North Pole, audiences will see Aniston back on TV. She is set to return as news anchor Alex Levy in the fifth and final season of Apple TV’s critically acclaimed drama The Morning Show alongside co-star and fellow executive producer Reese Witherspoon.
On the film side, Naughty marks Aniston’s return to major comedy feature leads following her voice performance in 2024’s Out of My Mind and her hit turn opposite Adam Sandler in Netflix’s Murder Mystery 2.
