Comedy lenged Reece Shearsmith, best known for Inside No.9 and League of Gentlement will lead the cast of a Last One Laughing UK Halloween special, which will also feature Daisy May Cooper, Phil Wang, Jack Dee, Harriet Dyer, and Tom Allen.
Hosted once again by Jimmy Carr alongside co-host Roisin Conaty, the spooktacular event marks the third iteration of the UK franchise. First-look images revealed today confirm that the star-studded lineup of British comedy talent will enter the high-stakes comedy arena with one simple yet brutal rule: make your fellow contestants laugh without cracking so much as a smile yourself.
The four-part Halloween special will roll out in two installments on Prime Video:
Episodes 1–3: Launching Friday, October 23
Episode 4 (Finale): Launching Friday, October 30—just in time for Halloween night
How the Game Works
The gameplay follows the show’s signature rules. The six comedians are locked inside a room together for hours, performing bits and attempting to break their rivals.
A host-issued yellow card serves as a stern warning for a contestant’s first laugh or smirk. A second infraction results in a red card, immediately booting the comedian from the competition. The last comedian left standing with a straight face wins the coveted LOL UK trophy.
