Stop everything! The Last One Laughing Season 2 start date has been confirmed!
Here's when Last One Laughing UK season 2 is coming to Prime Video.
The return date for the second season of Last One Laughing UK has been officially confirmed, with the comedy competition set to premiere on 19 March.
Following a widely praised debut season, the Amazon Original is back with a fresh roster of comedians. The new line-up features David Mitchell, Diane Morgan, Romesh Ranganathan, Amy Gledhill, Maisie Adam, Mel Giedroyc, Alan Carr, Gbemisola Ikumelo and Sam Campbell. Joining them is Bob Mortimer, winner of the inaugural season, who returns to defend his title.
Earlier this year, it was announced that the new season would arrive on screens in 2026, with Jimmy Carr reprising his role as host. Roisin Conaty also returns as his deputy, overseeing the all-important rule enforcement.
Season one, which launched last year, earned strong critical acclaim for its chaotic energy and unpredictable humour. The series brought together Bob Mortimer, Daisy May Cooper, Joe Lycett, Judi Love, Rob Beckett, Sara Pascoe, Lou Sanders, Joe Wilkinson, Harriet Kemsley and Richard Ayoade. Mortimer ultimately emerged victorious, claiming the first Last One Laughing UK crown.
The format remains unchanged for season two. Ten comedians are placed together for a day-long showdown where the objective is deceptively simple: do not laugh. Carr will once again attempt to provoke reactions while contestants deploy their sharpest wit, absurdity and improvisation skills to break their rivals.
Alongside the core cast, viewers can expect surprise comedy cameos, unexpected twists and escalating mind games designed to trigger laughter — and eliminations.
With the rules clear-cut — laugh and you’re out — anticipation is already building over who will be the last comedian standing when the series premieres on 19 March.
Last One Laughing UK is adapted from the hit Japanese Amazon Original Documental, created by and starring Hitoshi Matsumoto. The original series sees comedians wager their own money in a no-holds-barred battle to make each other laugh behind closed doors.
