Marvin Humes launches new Hits Radio show with Olivia Dean
Marvin Humes’ brand-new show kicks off today—and he’s starting in style with a very special, exclusive interview with Olivia Dean.
Marvin Humes takes over weekday afternoons on Hits Radio from today, bringing fresh energy to the 1pm–4pm slot.
His journey with the station began earlier this month, when he made his first appearance on Bank Holiday Monday (6 April) at 4pm as part of the Top 300 Countdown from the 00s to now.
Now, from Monday 13th April, Marvin officially launches his daily show—with today’s debut featuring that headline interview with Olivia Dean, a BRITs and MOBO award-winner.
Marvin said: “I cannot wait to get started on Hits Radio. We’ve got some big plans for the show and I’m excited for everyone to hear it.”
Alongside his new weekday slot, he’ll continue on KISSTORY with a new Sunday show from 4pm to 7pm.
Meanwhile, Hattie Pearson moves to KISSTORY mornings, hosting 10am–1pm from Bauer’s Manchester studios while remaining part of the wider team.
Paul Gerrard described Marvin as “a perfect fit for Hits Radio” and said he’s pleased Hattie will continue with her new programme on KISSTORY.
