Fans can go behind-the-scenes on new Disney movie ‘Mufasa: The Lion King’ with a new featurette, below.

Mufasa: The Lion King chronicles the unlikely journey of the Pride Lands' beloved ruler, as told by Rafiki to young lion cub Kiara, Simba and Nala’s daughter. With Timon and Pumbaa adding their signature humor, the tale unfolds in flashbacks, introducing Mufasa as an orphaned cub who, lost and alone, crosses paths with Taka—a lion of royal lineage. This fateful encounter sparks a sweeping adventure, where an extraordinary group of misfits must face challenges, forge unbreakable bonds, and confront a deadly adversary.

The film boasts an impressive cast, including Aaron Pierre, Kelvin Harrison Jr., John Kani, Tiffany Boone, Kagiso Lediga, Preston Nyman, Mads Mikkelsen, Thandiwe Newton, Lennie James, Anika Noni Rose, Keith David, Seth Rogen, Billy Eichner, Donald Glover, Blue Ivy Carter, Braelyn Rankins, Theo Somolu, Folake Olowofoyeku, Joanna Jones, Thuso Mbedu, Sheila Atim, Abdul Salis, Dominique Jennings, and Beyoncé Knowles-Carter.

Featuring original music by award-winning songwriter Lin-Manuel Miranda, Mufasa: The Lion King roars into cinemas on December 20, 2024.
