After making waves at the box office, psychological horror thriller Obsession is making its home entertainment debut, arriving exclusively on digital platforms from July 1, 2026 through Universal Pictures Home Entertainment.
To rent Curry Barker's breakout horror hit Obsession (2026) digitally in the UK, it costs £13.99, while buying a permanent digital copy costs £17.99.
US audiences can now watch the acclaimed thriller by purchasing it for $24.99 or renting it for $19.99 on both Amazon Prime Video and Apple TV, bringing one of this year’s most talked-about horror films into living rooms nationwide. In the UK, fans can stream it on Sky Store, Raukuten TV, YouTube, Prme Video and Apple TV.
Directed and written by rising horror filmmaker Curry Barker, Obsession follows a hopeless romantic whose desperate attempt to win over his crush leads him to break the mysterious “One Wish Willow.” While his wish appears to come true, the consequences quickly spiral into a disturbing psychological nightmare, proving that some desires come with a terrifying price.
The film has earned praise for its unsettling atmosphere and psychological tension, helping establish Barker as one of horror’s emerging voices. Backed by executive producer Jason Blum of Blumhouse-Atomic Monster, Obsession blends supernatural horror with psychological suspense to deliver a chilling story about love, obsession and the dangers of getting exactly what you wish for.
Leading the cast are Michael Johnston (Slash, Endangered Species) and Inde Navarrette (Superman & Lois, Wander Darkly), with supporting performances from Cooper Tomlinson, Megan Lawless, and Emmy Award nominee Andy Richter, whose appearance adds another memorable element to the film’s unsettling ensemble.
The production team includes producers James Harris (Fall, I Am Not a Serial Killer), Haley Nicole Johnson, Christian Mercuri (Kandahar, Boy Kills World), and Roman Viaris (Kandahar). Behind the scenes, cinematographer Taylor Clemons, production designer Vivian Gray, costume designer Blair James, composer Rock Burwell, and editor Curry Barker help bring the film’s haunting vision to life.
With its successful theatrical run now giving way to digital release, Obsession is poised to reach an even wider audience, offering horror fans the chance to experience one of 2026’s standout genre releases from home.
