Owen Wilson's new golf comedy 'Stick' to debut on Apple TV Plus this June
Brand new comedy series explores the world of golf.
Apple TV+ has unveiled a first look at Stick, a new golf comedy series starring and executive produced by Owen Wilson, and created by Jason Keller. The 10-episode season premieres globally on Apple TV+ with the first three episodes on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, followed by one new episode every Wednesday through July 23.
Wilson stars as Pryce Cahill, a former pro golfer whose career was cut short two decades ago. After his marriage crumbles and he loses his job at a sporting goods store in Indiana, Pryce takes a gamble on his future by mentoring Santi (Peter Dager), a troubled 17-year-old golf prodigy. Stick is a heartfelt and uplifting comedy about an unexpected found family, set in the world of golf like never before.
The ensemble cast includes Marc Maron, Mariana Treviño, Lilli Kay, Judy Greer, and Timothy Olyphant. The series also features guest appearances from golf stars Collin Morikawa, Keegan Bradley, Max Homa, Wyndham Clark, and more. Additional cameos include broadcasters Jim Nantz and Trevor Immelman, as well as Good Good’s Matt Scharff, Brad Dalke, Garrett Clark, and golf personality Dan Rapaport.
Stick debuts June 4, 2025, exclusively on Apple TV+.
