Sky and Amazon have announced an extension of their partnership, ensuring Prime Video remains available on Sky devices across multiple regions, including the UK, Ireland, Germany, Austria, Italy, and Switzerland.
This agreement allows Sky customers with Prime Video subscriptions to seamlessly access critically acclaimed TV shows, films, and live sports from both Sky and Prime Video, all in one location.
The renewed deal preserves access to popular Prime Video exclusives like Clarkson’s Farm, The Boys, and LOL: Last One Laughing, as well as live coverage of the Premier League and UEFA Champions League. Prime Video will continue to complement Sky’s content offerings, which include Sky Originals such as Rob & Romesh Vs and A League of Their Own, alongside a broad range of programming from Netflix, Disney+, Apple TV, BBC, ITV, and Channel 4.
Nick Herm, Chief Business Officer at Sky, emphasized Sky’s commitment to being the go-to platform for content aggregation. “We’re delighted to renew our partnership with Prime Video, allowing Sky customers to continue enjoying award-winning content across all our devices,” he said.
Barry Furlong, VP of Prime Video Europe, echoed the sentiment: “Prime Video customers value the convenience of accessing their favorite TV shows, movies, and live sports while watching Sky. This partnership ensures they can continue to enjoy Prime Video’s must-watch lineup, including UEFA Champions League football in the UK, Germany, and Italy.”
The collaboration highlights the shared goal of both companies to deliver a comprehensive entertainment experience to their customers.
