What Is Prisoner About?
At the heart of Prisoner is Amber (Hoyle), a by-the-book prison transport officer assigned to escort Tibor (Rahim) — a dangerous, highly trained killer — to court, where he’s set to testify against a powerful crime syndicate.
But the mission spirals out of control when their convoy is ambushed in a brutal, coordinated attack. Suddenly, Amber is forced into an unthinkable situation: trust the very man she’s been guarding.
Left as the only survivors, the pair find themselves handcuffed together and on the run. With time running out and enemies closing in, they must navigate a deadly landscape to reach court alive — and on time.
A Dangerous Alliance With High Stakes
As the syndicate tightens its grip, Prisoner dives deep into a tense psychological battle where trust is fragile and survival comes at a cost. Amber’s unwavering principles are pushed to the limit as she faces impossible choices, blurring the lines between right and wrong.
The series explores themes of morality, loyalty and survival, making it more than just a high-octane thriller — it’s a character-driven story with emotional depth and edge-of-your-seat suspense.
Star-Studded Supporting Cast
Alongside Rahim and Hoyle, Prisoner boasts a powerhouse supporting lineup, including Eddie Marsan, Catherine McCormack, Leonie Benesch, Finn Bennett, Sam Troughton, Laurie Davidson, Ken Nwosu, Brían F. O'Byrne and Youssef Kerkour.
