The Claudia Winkleman Show confirmed to launch on Friday 13 March
Claudia Winkleman's new chatshow will start Friday 13 March on BBC one
BAFTA award-winning television presenter Claudia Winkleman is set to front her own primetime chat show, The Claudia Winkleman Show, launching on Friday 13 March 2026 on BBC One at 10.35pm.
The series will also be available on BBC iPlayer, marking a major new addition to the broadcaster’s Friday night entertainment lineup.
Produced by So Television, part of ITV Studios, and the company behind the long-running hit The Graham Norton Show, the programme promises lively conversation with some of the biggest names from film, television and music.
Each episode will see Claudia Winkleman, best known for co-presenting Strictly Come Dancing and hosting The Traitors, welcome celebrity guests to her sofa alongside a studio audience.
Early guests are set to include Ryan Gosling, who will promote his new film Hail Mary, and Andrew Garfield, discussing his forthcoming movie The Magic Faraway Tree.
Speaking about the new venture, Claudia Winkleman says:
“I can’t quite believe it and I’m incredibly grateful to the BBC for this amazing opportunity. I’m obviously going to be awful, that goes without saying, but I’m over the moon they’re letting me try.”
Kalpna Patel-Knight, Head of Entertainment Commissioning at the BBC, says:
“Claudia is a true national treasure - warm, witty and endlessly entertaining. She has an extraordinary ability to put people at ease and bring out the very best in them, whether they’re global superstars or members of the audience. It’s very exciting that she will be fronting her very own show on the BBC, and we can’t wait for viewers to join Claudia and her sofa full of stars.”
Graham Stuart, Managing Director of So Television and Executive Producer, said:
“Graham Norton has made the Friday night talk show slot a dazzling appointment to view. How can you possibly follow that? By booking a host equally as brilliant. So we have.”
The Claudia Winkleman Show will air in the same slot as The Graham Norton Show, Friday nights at 10.35pm.
