The Studio: First look released by Apple TV Plus
“The Studio,” hailing from Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg is coming soon.
Today, Apple TV+ revealed an exciting first look at its upcoming comedy series The Studio and confirmed its 10-episode run will debut globally on Wednesday, March 26, 2025. Starring Seth Rogen—who also serves as writer, director, and executive producer alongside Emmy-nominated collaborator Evan Goldberg—the series will kick off with a two-episode premiere, followed by weekly episodes every Wednesday through May 21, 2025.
The Studio follows Matt Remick (Rogen), the newly minted head of struggling Continental Studios. As the film industry grapples with staying relevant, Matt and his team of squabbling executives navigate their anxieties while managing egotistical artists and power-hungry corporate bosses. Whether at a glitzy party, a chaotic set visit, or a high-stakes marketing meeting, every decision teeters on the edge of triumph or disaster. For Matt, who lives and breathes movies, this dream job may just be his undoing.
Joining Rogen is an impressive ensemble cast, including Emmy, SAG, and Golden Globe winner Catherine O’Hara, Emmy nominee Kathryn Hahn, Ike Barinholtz, and Chase Sui Wonders. The series will also feature guest appearances by Academy Award nominee and Emmy winner Bryan Cranston.
With its sharp humour and all-star lineup, The Studio promises to deliver a hilarious and satirical peek behind the curtain of Hollywood’s high-stakes movie-making machine.
The new project marks the latest collaboration for Apple TV+ and Rogen, and joins the recently renewed Apple Original comedy “Platonic,” in which Rogen stars and executive produces alongside Rose Byrne.
