Tommy Fury series announced by BBC Three
Tommy: The Good. The Bad. The Fury is coming to BBBC Three
Tommy: The Good. The Bad. The Fury, a major new series for BBC Three and iPlayer, will follow Tommy Fury as he strives to get his life back on track in the only way a Fury knows how.
The professional boxer, influencer, and television personality is opening up his life to cameras, giving viewers an inside look at his journey back into the ring. This raw, all-access series will be produced by All3Media’s Optomen, the award-winning production company behind groundbreaking shows such as Sort Your Life Out and At Home With The Furys.
Just a year ago, Tommy Fury seemed to have it all – victory over his biggest rival, Jake Paul, love with Molly-Mae, and a beautiful baby daughter, Bambi. But in his last fight, he injured his hand and, unable to train, his life began to spiral out of control.
Having spent over a year out of the ring, winning his upcoming fight has taken on even greater significance. With unparalleled access to Tommy and his inner circle, the build-up to the fight is about far more than just boxing – it’s about fulfilling a family legacy, tapping into the very heart of who Tommy is and who he wants to become.
Tommy Fury says: “A lot of people see me in the ring, they see me on social media, but they don’t see ME - the person behind all of that. I’m excited for everyone to finally be able to see what goes on behind the scenes, how the big fights are made, all the ups and downs as well as a glimpse into my private life.”
Kalpna Patel-Knight, Head of Entertainment at the BBC, says: “The gloves are off in this candid, access all areas insight into the real life of Tommy Fury. With unprecedented insights, audiences will see Tommy as they never have before. Whilst he remains undefeated in his boxing career, he is also determined to remain on his feet outside of the ring.”
Rebecca McLaughlin, Executive Producer for Optomen, says: “Tommy has given extraordinary access, giving us a candid and unfiltered insight into his life and the unpredictable world of crossover boxing.”
The series will last for 10 x 30 minute episodes.
