Prime Video has unveiled an exclusive first look at the highly anticipated third season of The Wheel of Time, releasing an electrifying 11-minute opening scene on the platform. This special preview can now be found at the end of the third episode of Reacher Season Three, which also premiered today. The Wheel of Time returns globally on Prime Video on March 13, 2025, bringing Robert Jordan’s best-selling fantasy epic to life in a co-production between Sony Pictures Television and Amazon MGM Studios.
The intense opening scene sets the stage for an epic clash between light and darkness. A secretive sect of sorceresses devoted to the Dark One make a shocking reveal, triggering a brutal and game-changing battle that alters the course of history.

Season Three draws inspiration from The Shadow Rising, the beloved fourth book in Jordan’s series. Viewers will journey beyond Tar Valon to explore new regions of the Westlands, including the vast Aiel Waste, the treacherous port city of Tanchico, and the mysterious, fog-shrouded ruins of Rhuidean.
The season kicks off with a three-episode premiere, followed by weekly episodes leading up to the gripping finale on April 17, 2025.
