When will 'Fly Me To The Moon' be on Apple TV Plus?
Channing Tatum's popular rom-com drops this December.
Apple Original Films has announced that the romantic comedy Fly Me to the Moon, directed by Greg Berlanti, will premiere globally on Apple TV+ on Friday, December 6. Following its theatrical release, the film earned the Verified Hot designation on Rotten Tomatoes, fueled by fan enthusiasm. Critics have also lauded the performances of Scarlett Johansson and Channing Tatum, highlighting their “Grade A movie-star chemistry” and “sheer charisma.”
Starring Johansson (who also produces) and Tatum, Fly Me to the Moon is a sharp and stylish romantic comedy set during the historic Apollo 11 moon landing.
The story follows marketing expert Kelly Jones (Johansson), whose mission to revamp NASA’s public image creates chaos for launch director Cole Davis (Tatum) as he struggles with the immense pressures of the landmark mission.
With the White House declaring the launch a must-succeed effort, the countdown is on—with sparks flying on all fronts.
Produced by Apple Studios, Fly Me to the Moon features a screenplay by Rose Gilroy. The film is produced by Johansson, Jonathan Lia, and Keenan Flynn under These Pictures, alongside Sarah Schechter. Robert J. Dohrmann serves as the executive producer.
