The Terror: Devil in Silver is the third installment of AMC’s acclaimed horror anthology series. Adapted from Victor LaValle’s 2012 novel, the 6-episode limited series shifts the franchise away from historical periods to a modern psychological nightmare.

Plot & Premise The story centers on Pepper, a working-class moving man in Queens whose quick temper and unfortunate streak of luck get him wrongfully committed to New Hyde Psychiatric Hospital. Expecting a routine 72-hour temporary stay, Pepper quickly realizes the system is stacked against him, trapping him inside.
Within New Hyde’s walls, Pepper must navigate burnt-out staff, secretive doctors, and hostile fellow patients. Worse still, a terrifying entity wanders the corridors—a physical or supernatural monster that feeds directly on the suffering of the institution’s forgotten residents. To escape, Pepper and a small group of patients must band together to confront the creature and their own internal demons.
