Zoe Ball to make huge BBC tv comeback
Former Radio 2 Breakfast Show host is returning to BBC One
Zoe Ball is set to make a huge return to BBC One, with an appearance on Who Do You Think You Are?
It’ll be the first time Zoe has fronted a BBC show since she hosted Strictly: It Takes Two. In more recent years, she’s hosted specials for ITV including a Mamma Mia! talent show.
A source tells The Sun: "Zoe comes from a famous family but not much is known beyond that.
"She was really excited to get be asked to the do show and is really looking forward to seeing what they find."
The documentary is likely to air around the same time Zoe will make her return to Radio 2, presenting a new Saturday lunchtime show.
Helen Thomas, Head of Radio 2, says: “Zoe is one of the UK’s most loved presenters, so I’m thrilled to announce that she has a new home on Radio 2 on Saturday lunchtimes, plus she’ll be hosting various specials for us throughout the year.”
Zoe, who presented her last Radio 2 Breakfast Show on Friday 20th December after six years, most recently presented two episodes of Christmas Crooners over the festive period. As previously announced, she will also host Elaine Paige: 60 Years in Showbusiness, a world exclusive concert honouring the extraordinary career of the station’s host of Elaine Paige on Sunday (1-3pm).
